Man is Separate from Animals

Animals do not have souls even though they too are created by God. Animals are not created in the image or likeness of God which is a Spirit, comprised of Mind, Body and Soul.

Animals were created for sacrifices, nourishment and companionship. If the animal was created with a soul, then its purpose for life on earth would have to be changed. This is because its being slain by man would have to be considered murder.

Although animals are unable to speak, they are trainable and are capable of demonstrating love and various other types of behaviors. This means that animals who are shown love, return love. Animals who are shown hatred, return hatred.

When God said, "let's create man in our image," He was given dominion over every living creature. God created man as a Spirit, with a body, mind and soul to communicate with Him through prayer, meditation, praise, worship and in songs. Animals were not.

When an animal dies it does not have a soul to leave its body. Conversely, it does not have a spirit to fill its body. This makes incapable of entering into the Kingdom of Heaven. Man was created with a body and soul for God. This way, people could multiply and replenish the earth to fulfill God's desire.

An animal cannot save a human's soul. Its only justification of being is limited to the earth. Man was created to save souls and build God's Kingdom. Man's justification of being is identified with Heaven and Earth and having Dominion over all the animals and every living creature.

Although animals are wonderful creatures inhabiting the earth, man is different because of his ability to love, feel, create, worship and praise. When man dies, he has a soul which leaves his body and is transformed into a glorified body. Therefore, man can enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, which makes man separate from animals.
