What it Means to be Christian Today

Before anyone will be able to understand just exactly what it means
to be a Christian today, there are some very important things to discuss. An individual must be able to realize, understand, and know exactly what a Christian is. A Christian is any person within whom Jesus Christ lives by His Spirit. A Christian also allows the life and character of Jesus Christ to be lived out through his own daily behavior, in order to function as intended to the glory of God (Isa. 43:7).

An individual must know and be able to understand what Christianity
is all about. Christianity is Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ "is the
way,the truth,and the life:no man cometh unto the Father,but by me"
(John 14:6). An individual must start the transformation process to become a Christian. It is when a person is "in Christ" and Christ is "in them" that they become a "new creature," or a Christian (II Cor. 5:17).

After achieving the above, one should be inclined to believe that a portion of the transformation process has been made. Making the transformation process from being a Sinner to being a Christian is never 100% complete. It is an ongoing, continuous process. To become a Christian one must do so by coming unto God in faith. After making the transformation process and becoming a Christian, one must always remain a Christian. This is not going to be an easy job because the Devil works around the clock using temptation to try and persuade you to come back over to his side.

The above steps and transformation process that a person has to go
through to obtain Christianity isn't going to be easy, but then again, nothing that's ever worth having comes easy. After going through the above transformation process and becoming successful in achieving Christianity, this is what it means to be a Christian today.
